Q: What type of leases can I get?
A: We offer 12 month leases at all of our properties.
Q: Can I get a furnished apartment?
A: We do not offer furnished apartments.
Q: Do you require renters insurance?
A: Yes, proof of renter’s insurance is required prior to move-in.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Yes, with a $300.00 nonrefundable pet fee + $30 per month. 1 pet only, 35 lbs and under.
Q: Do you have a preferred employer program?
A: Yes, there are numerous companies in our Preferred Employer Program. They receive $200.00 off of 1st full month’s rent. Ask for more information on our list of preferred employers.
Q: What are the fees when applying?
A: There is an application fee of $45.00 for the 1st applicant and $25.00 for each additional applicant.
Q: When is my rent payment due?
A: Rent is due on the 1st of every month.
Q: Where Do I send my rent payment?
A: Send payment to Stile Companies, 839 E. Market St., Akron, Ohio, 44305.
Q: Do you have a resident referral program?
A: Yes, we are always very grateful to our residents who refer others to ours to us. When they sign their lease you will receive a certificate for $100.00 off of your next month’s rent.
Q: Will I be able to sublet my apartment?
A: Subletting is not permitted at any of our properties.
Q: What is considered a maintenance emergency?
A: No heat, no A/C in extreme heat, water leak (such as broken water line or leaking hot water tank), locked out, unsecured door or window, clogged toilet (if you only have 1 toilet).
Q: How much notice do I need to give before I move out?
A: You must give a 30-day minimum notice in writing before your lease is up if you do not choose to renew.
Q: What if I’m relocated for my job to another state and need to move out before my lease is complete?
A: You are responsible for your rent through the terms that are stated in your lease agreement.
